The only ever Aphex Twin TV Interview! (part 1)

This was a very unique interview. I had been warned beforehand that Aphex Twin (Richard D. James) only answered questions with yes or no. If he answered them at all. Well, I had no problem getting him to talk. It actually became quite a revealing interview. Enjoy!

Great interview you did back in the day. Aphex Twin was one of my favorite artists and were an incredible trip to listen to.

Excellent and a nice way to culturally jump-start 2009.


I browsed a bit your blog and saw you lived in Aruba.
That's cool, I also myself lived for awhile in the Netherland Antilles. Well, the Dutch/French islands to be more precise, since I worked in Saint Martin/Sint Maarten which is split in half.

Isn't insular living a funky lifestyle?

While sailing to Jamaica with friends we stopped one night in Oranjestad. Didn't see much of it, but it seemed more relaxed than Sint Maarten.
